5 World Landmarks (session 1)
Sculpture construction: using cardboard wood, wire and miscellaneous repurposed materials create three dimensional works inspired by landmarks such as The Eiffel tower, Inca pyramids, The Brooklyn bridge, Disney Hall and the Coliseum.
This class will explore materials and ways to construct for balance, structural integrity, imagination and fun.
We will use cardboard boxes, found wood, popsicle sticks repurposed materials, glue, tape and inventiveness. http://www.rediscovercenter.org/ is our inspiration.

5 Portraits From 5 World Cultures (session 2)
Explore portraits from cultures across the world. African Ifa sculptors, Native Alaskan art, Byzantine Icons, Renaissance Italy, DaVinci, Indian Miniatures.
Looking at examples of art across these cultures we will draw and paint our own interpretation of portrait, family members and pets.
Attention families, be prepared for surprising results.

Each session will run for ten weeks.$450 for all 20 weeks (10 week session available for $230 please specify which session upon registration)
